Once we launch the Alpha we will be posting this in conjunction with the patch notes but here is a look at what we've been working on this week as well as a look at the map of the San Cielo area...
1) This week was focused on finishing buildings and interiors that are required for Alpha
- Completed 3 of 8 buildings that need to be completed
- City Hall, the primary building where the first contacts and initial missions are distributed, is being modeled for delivery this weekend
- Other buildings are being concepted throughout the weekend for delivery next week
2) The completion of the male character and all customizations is being completed this weekend for delivery next week
- Final texturing is being done on hair models
- New facial customization features are being skinned in preparation for the new chargen video presentation that is coming soon; the delivery of the features is scheduled for Monday
- Character facial presets and slider settings are being configured for the new facial customization elements
- New full body costume sets are being concepted and completed concepts are being prepared for 3D modeling next week
3) In-game HUD updates are in-development
- New icons for craftable items are being developed
- New icons for crafting blueprint resources are being developed
- Improvements to the current HUD presentations are being implemented
- The new crafting, consignment, vendor, and currency exchange windows are being completed for delivery next week
4) The San Cielo map has been completed for a planned two year development cycle
- Though other locations such as the moon colony, the Marsian outpost, the planet Eritos, and other cities near San Cielo will become explorable later in the game's lifecycle, we're focused on the completion of San Cielo which represents the majority of our level 1-30 content and the focus of the next two years of development
