Just a brief explanation...

We had a bug with mobs pop up where they were not spawning in the right places. So a high level mob could spawn right in the player starting area... which might be amusing, but overall, not the best idea.

So we had a tough decision to make. We could have released a broken alpha and said, "see we released when we said we would," but we decided it was better to fix it so you have the intended experience.

In case you missed it, the alpha should launch in the morning and invites will go out overnight.
