I have seen this happen on two separate occasions. I have not been able to reproduce this, and I haven't been able to make it happen myself. I've just seen the enemy at the player re spawn location. The weird part is picture #3 of Naldo saying he has already taken the bad guy out while I was clearly staring at him.

I wasn't paying attention, so I don't know if it spawned with me, but I suicided to get back to respawn after leveling off the rowan oakes for a while, and after I respawned I was thorn-held. I thought it was a weird timing bug, but maybe there was a mob behind me.
