installed the game and got all the way past character creation but all i see is the city i cant move or anything. Let alone see my character

I had to reset the game, and then click on the information. It took a second to load and I'm impatient haha.

But that worked for me. I closed out, reput in my information, clicked on the character I made and it let me in.

I had similar problem as the graphics seem to be set by default to top end setting of "Fantastic". Pressing ESC should give you a menu where you can select Graphics and then adjust the settings. See if that helps.
