Hello is anyone here able to tell me how I can update the game?

I do not have a Launcher therefor I can't update it.

If you have not played for months your current installation would best be completely wiped and re-installed with the most recent launcher offered in the investor forums. Its a bit of a gone-nuclear method but its part of the joys of pre-alpha/alpha stage testing
