We haven't had to do that in several updates now, but if for some reason they do need us to wipe out the directory and start from scratch they let us know before the patch comes out.
Since they haven't said anything, I would say just run the launcher like normal and it should patch itself like usual whenever patches become available. This last one just a few days or so ago patched right in no problem.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and if you haven't done it yet... be sure to go to the Options tab on the launcher, then Special Graphics Options button. You can choose DirectX 11! Wow did that make a difference in Frame Rate for me. Nearly 10 fps difference. You can also find Safe Mode and other options in that area.
