Hi, before the patch I was able to play at 60fps easily. After the patch dropped I started seeing severe performance issues such as drastically reduced framerate and glitches galore. There is a small hourglass icon saying that it is Background Loading with 2 of something remaining but never seems to actually finish.

Is this intended? I asked around if anyone else is having the same issue but nobody responded in game. Will the problems go away once this "background loading" is complete? Thanks in advanced, would really love to test the game further but am unable to atm.

I don't know for sure but I do know someone mentioned changing settings to use DirectX11 up'd their FPS significantly so you may want to confirm no settings changed or anything.

No settings changed at all. I asked around in game if others had this background loading, and everyone I talked to said no. Not sure what's going on but it's pretty much unplayable.

I'm also having this issue. I went from around 65fps to 30-37 with this background loading icon always on my screen. It hasn't made the game unplayable, but I've definitely noticed some lag I wasn't experiencing before.

I haven't noticed it yet, but usually in the past... that happens when they are putting in a hotfix or something behind the scenes for an upcoming patch. Hopefully that means we'll hear an announcement about something or other in the next few days (crosses fingers) - there has been so much talked about lately.. I'm antsy to see it in game! lol
