Will the level progression of the players in alpha phase respectively beta phase be taken over into the final game?

Will the characters created in alpha respectively beta be taken over into the final game?

I am interested to know this too. Normally when an MMO is in alpha and beta the characters get wiped I believe, but if silverhelm is able to let us keep our alpha and beta characters more power to them and that would be greatly appreciated.

I think this question will be answered in the far future... maybe 2018

No definite answer on this. Depends on how Alpha goes and what kind of changes we end up making as part of the development process and evolution of the game. There will probably be character wipes but...

Do you know what kind of naming system you'll use for characters? Some of us are hoping for a system similar to one used by Cryptic games in which names are tied to account handles and are thus non unique.

This -really- helps character creation especially once the game has run for a little while. names which are unique get taken and the player who took the name could even stop playing but the name remains taken forever

Why? I'm definitely making original characters just for the purpose of testing. Remaking my favorites might have to wait but hey at least I get to play from alpha.

Where do you go to sign up for alpha testing? Are you pre selected or is there a sign up section for it somewhere?

That's just for the PRIVATE alpha though, they'll be opening the alpha to the public eventually.

So when the Alpha testing starts, will there be NDA?

I think this game needs more viral marketing and more presence in the social media.

NDA would not be helpful but they can be released in beta testing.
