It's now over a week since they said they'd do it, we're patient but we really want to see the progress! We want live stweam! pweeaase? at least give us an ETA?

We weren't quite satisfied with a few things over the last few weeks, and it has been very important to us that what people see from this upcoming livestream is as well-presented as possible. Our Systems Director has been concluding the development of a lot of the features that he wants the community to see in the video, and the majority of those are combat mechanics and player attributes. Initially we didn't have them prioritized but after spending more time with combat, he wasn't satisfied with the overall feel of combat and moved many of those features to the priority list.

We have a big, all-day meeting and testing pass planned, and will be polishing combat in preparation for the upcoming livestream. So, it's safe to say the first Alpha livestream is near!!!

I hope that means we will be seeing something somewhat close to that Unity tech demo by one your animators. I still can't get over how Unity can make a game look that good, something I thought was reserved for game engines like UE4, CryEngine, etc.

I think it´s important to show Valiance Online in the best possible light to the community and future players. So yes, if it takes more time - take it. We all want VA to be a success and a long life MMO.

@SavageFist, yes you'll be seeing many of those effects as well as a lot more. We'll go from account registration, to login and character creation, and then progress from level 1 to 4 with a fresh character. Then we'll switch to our moderator accounts and run a level 25 mission, which in this case is akin to a Task Force mission, to show our mid-level gameplay.

@Gerald Deemer, we couldn't agree with you more. We've decided to hold off on the last few livestreams because we really want everyone to see the product at its best; that's precisely what we're doing. So, expect to see the best we have to show in our upcoming livestream.
