So I know the current generation of pre-alpha character generator is rather limited, but I thought it would be fun to see what people are capable of doing with the current tools. Let's share some of our current character builds here.

Sarim - Tried to replicate my old City of Heroes "Silver Age" costume, but really couldn't nail it down perfectly. It'll do for now.



Broxen - In CoH and DCUO broxen was always more of a short dwarven-like tank/brawler. I tried to make that happen and somehow bugged the character, so instead I got mystical smoke man! He's just smoke! (and unplayable--hahaha)



Zhoron - Went a different direction with this one. Here I went more techo-wizard. It... sort of worked.


I had trouble uploading photos on the forums, so I hosted them elsewhere and linked to them. Looking forward to seeing your designs!

I'd like to partake. But unfortunately I'm not entirely sure how to post a picture. I did a screen shot but not sure where it got saved. Is there a better way?

For me, screenshots taken in-game (Ctrl+P) appear in the game's folder, but there appears to be a bug and they come out all black. So instead, I use window's built-in Print Screen by pressing the PrntScn button on my keyboard. In windows 10, these get saved in your One Drive Folder (if enabled) or in Screenshots under Pictures.

Then, I couldn't get the forums to upload my pictures because they were too big (not sure what the size requirement is), so I uploaded them to my own server. If you don't have a server, you can use imgur.com or something similar. From there, you can use the bbcode link above the reply field to add the following bbcode replacing the url with the shortlink from imgur.Dropbox may work also, though I've never tried.

I heard that they will be in Alpha "soon" so maybe you should do a Alpha thread also, when that time comes.

We will need a minion showcase thread as well, when those features are released. Those should be pretty interesting.

To go off of Broxen's reply, I use sites like Photobucket and Imgur to host pictures for forum posts. After you post it, just get the URL for the picture itself and put it in like what Broxen said before:

Personally, I like editing my image size on the picture rather than the img size tag. Every forum is a little bit different in that sense after all, and if I want to share images, the img size one doesn't always work.

Hopefully your team can tweak the upload size on the site, so that the forums can facilitate image sharing more organically!

I'd love to partake, but for the moment I've not been too satisfied with the costume choices to get me really excited for it.

Looks already great. You got to love the character creator. I´m sure I will spend hours with this!

Is it only me, or do the characters look annoyingly like those in Champions Online? One of the reasons I don't play CO is their art style. I'd hate to see it reproduced here.
