I remember in the latter days of CoX it allowed players to have different builds and even genders in a costume slot for a single character. Like one costume could be a huge build and another could be a female and another could be male. I remember one player taking hilarious advantage of this and had their little girl character turn into a huge build rage monster ala Hulk. I'm just wondering if there are plans for something similar if not at launch then down the road.

I believe I saw one of the devs say it was planned to allow your character to change appearance and even gender, but hopefully they can post here and confirm for you.
